Climate Emergency: Scotland must do more

The world is facing a climate emergency. Global temperatures are rising, extreme weather events are increasing and millions of people around the world are already feeling the devastating effects.  We must act now to prevent runaway climate change.

Without much tougher action from all the world’s wealthy nations, we face even more catastrophic temperature increases.

The First Minister has committed Scotland to ‘playing our full part in the Paris Agreement.’ But her government’s proposals so far fail to deliver. Plans for a new Climate Change Bill fall far short of the ambition and action that is so urgently needed.

Urge Nicola Sturgeon to make sure the new Climate Bill delivers her promisesTake action now and email the First Minister, calling for a 77% cut by 2030 and a zero emissions Scotland by 2040.
