A chance for clean air in Edinburgh

Edinburgh Council wants to know your views on transport in the city. Their proposals could make the air cleaner, our roads safer and take back the city from cars.

Toxic and illegal levels of air pollution in Edinburgh causes 200 early deaths each year.  A deadline for clean air was missed in 2005 and there are six ‘pollution zones’ across the city where levels of pollution are dangerously high. So action on tackling traffic is well overdue.

The Council has put lots of exciting ideas on the table. But they will only be introduced if there is a huge show of support.

That’s why it’s vital to take action today.

We've created a quick action which will respond to say that you want to transform transport in Edinburgh. Your support can help change the city for decades to come.
