Join us to hear from people taking action for better buses across Scotland and find out how you can get involved in campaigning in the run-up to May’s election.

Safe, reliable and affordable buses are essential to connect our communities. Buses are a lifeline, not a luxury. The need to cut climate pollution and congestion in our towns and cities also demands more buses.

But Scotland’s bus network is on the brink of collapse with more routes and jobs cut every year and fares spiralling.

Private bus companies are making millions from this broken system.

Scotland’s buses used to be owned publicly. We can get public control back over our buses so that they meet the needs of our communities.

Speakers include:

Ellie Harrison, Susie Wood & Paul Shaw, Better Buses for Strathclyde

Laura Moodie, Dumfries & Galloway Bus Users Group

The Poverty Alliance

Chaired by Ric Lander, Friends of the Earth Scotland

Everyone is welcome - whether you are fighting for buses in your area already, or want to find out more about what is at stake.

Will you come?
