Whoever wins the Scottish Parliament election, new MSPs will have to deliver positive climate solutions that improve people’s lives.

The next Scottish Government must deliver better buses, warm homes with lower bills and ensure our energy system is run in the public interest. These are vital demands that the public support.

Right now, politicians want your vote so we collectively must show them what the public is calling for. We have drafted a short email with key demands that you can send to Party Leaders now.

These demands include:

• A national £2 bus fare cap for local services and support for councils to bring bus services back under public control.   
• An area-based warm homes programme, prioritising the 1 in 3 households that are in fuel poverty 
• Public ownership of renewables projects and manufacturing of wind turbines

This election is a milestone in the longer fight for the Scotland we need.
