Friends of the Earth Scotland (FoES) has always been built up from the grassroots, with our local groups forming the backbone of this structure. In the past 12 months we have been busy creating and reestablishing local groups across the country

The local group congress will be the first of its kind for members and people interested in joining to meet others from across Scotland, to hear inspiring stories of ordinary people fighting for climate justice from around the country. There will also be opportunities to learn skills in organising, campaigning and how to get involved in running an effective local group.

The day will be a mix of talks and workshops with an emphasis on fun, usefulness and tailored to the needs of existing groups. The day is also open to FoES members, supporters and anyone who is curious to get involved in organising and campaigning for climate justice in your local area.

Progamme for the day TBC

The venue is fully accessible with snacks, drinks and lunch provided.
