Join us for the Friends of the Earth Scotland September National Meeting.
Wed 24th Sept 6:30-8pm
On Saturday 15th November, as the UN climate conference COP30 takes place in Brazil, people around the world will be mobilising for a Global Day of Action. Be part of this global moment by joining us to march in the streets of Glasgow!
In last month’s national meeting we heard from experts Kevin Anderson and Erika Lennon on the need for urgent action to cut climate pollution. You can watch Kevin's presentation again on YouTube.
This month we will picking up the conversation about what this means in Scotland and dive into how we make that action happen!
We will hear about the plans for Scotland’s Climate March in November and how we can come together to show that a better world is possible. At a time when loud voices are pushing back on environmental progress and targeting vulnerable groups like refugees, it is more important than ever for us to stand together.
Join this online event to hear how you can get involved. From flyering and promotion, to banner making or stewarding, we will run through practical actions you can take in the run up and on the day to make this as big and powerful as possible.
There is a role for you in making this a success so let’s help you find it!
