Join us for the Friends of the Earth Scotland July National Meeting in collaboration with Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

Over the last couple of years, the campaign for an Energy Embargo for Palestine has grown in momentum across the world. Global movements have been ramping up pressure on the companies that are literally fuelling Israel’s attack on the Palestinian people.

It was recently exposed that Dana Petroleum, a fossil fuel company based in Aberdeen, have been awarded gas exploration licenses from Israel, despite being in Palestinian maritime waters recognised under international law.

In this meeting we will hear from those involved in the global Energy Embargo campaign and activists in Aberdeen about the role of Dana Petroleum and what can we do.

In the last part of the meeting we will also hear a round up from the recent Friends of the Earth Scotland AGM in June 2025 – including the next steps we are planning following a successful motion on supporting the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions campaign.
