The transition to a green energy is a massive opportunity for Scotland. We have everything we need to win big: a proud industrial heritage, skilled workforce, and world-class renewables. 

However, we are not seeing the action we need from policy makers to take advantage of this opportunity. As jobs continue to decline in oil and gas, the promised jobs in renewables are not yet materialising at the scale and pace needed. Profits are flowing into the pockets of the already wealthy, work is going overseas, and communities are being left behind. 

Even worse, bad faith actors are pushing policies scrapping support for renewables and net zero that wouldn’t just harm the planet - it would further devastate workers, communities, and the economy.
