Join us for our National Meeting focused on the energy transition

The good: The transition to a green energy is a massive opportunity for Scotland. We have everything we need to win big: a proud industrial heritage, skilled workforce, and some of Europe's best natural resources for renewables.

The bad: We are not seeing the action we need from decision makers to take advantage of this opportunity. As employment continues to decline in oil and gas, the promised jobs in renewables are not yet being created in Scotland at the scale and pace needed. Profits are flowing into the pockets of the already wealthy, work is going overseas, and communities are being left behind.

The ugly: Even worse, bad faith actors are pushing policies to scrap support for renewables and climate solutions that wouldn’t just harm the planet – new research has shown how it would further devastate workers, communities, and the economy.

Join us for this online session to learn about the impacts Reform UK’s proposed policies would have on green jobs across Scotland and the UK, and what we need instead to create good, secure, unionised jobs within a green energy system that works for people not just profit.

This National Meeting is member-only. To join us today for a little as £1 a month please click here.
